01 Accounts & Subscriptions

Accounts, devices & subscription updates

Check your login and plan status first, then get the client and subscription.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep your login details safe, and make sure you can access the user dashboard before checking plans or client downloads. Use a unique password, and never post your login details or subscription link in public forums. Creating an account and activating a plan are separate steps: being able to log in does not mean your subscription is active. Check your plan status and available data in the dashboard to confirm whether you can connect.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices or use multiple devices?

VPNLogo allows unlimited simultaneous devices, so switching devices does not require a new plan. Sign in to the user dashboard on your new device, get the client for that platform, and import your current subscription. Supported platforms: Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. When using multiple devices, keep an eye on the data available in your account—device count and data allowance are separate. When you stop using an old device, remove any saved account details and subscription settings from it.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in the client?

Sign in to the user dashboard and find your current subscription link under the subscription section. Then import it from the subscription or configuration page in your client. To update, select the relevant subscription in the client, run the update, and check that it succeeded. Then review the server list. Button names vary by platform, so follow the labels in your client. If the dashboard provides a new subscription link, replace the old one rather than repeatedly refreshing an expired link. Your subscription link is sensitive account information; hide the full link in screenshots or support tickets.

Can I download a client as soon as I sign in?

After signing in, you can get the Windows / macOS / Android / Linux clients from the user dashboard without purchasing a plan. The iOS client download requires an active plan. Getting a client and establishing a working connection are separate steps. After installation, follow the dashboard instructions to import your subscription, then check your plan status and remaining data. Start the download from the user dashboard on this site, and avoid installation files from unknown sources. If the download option does not appear, check that you are signed in and that you selected the platform matching your device.

What should I check first if a subscription update fails?

First, make sure your device can access the user dashboard, then check your plan status, available data, and that the subscription link is complete. Extra spaces or missing characters when copying the link can cause an update to fail. If your client lets you choose the network method for updates, switch it as described in the client’s instructions and try again. Also check that no other network tool is taking over the connection. Do not delete a configuration that still works, as it may help with troubleshooting. If the issue continues, note the client’s error message, your system platform, and what you were doing, then submit a support ticket with screenshots that hide sensitive details.

02 Connections & Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot by symptom: connection issues

Separate problems with your basic network, client settings, and target app instead of changing everything at once.

The client will not connect at all. What should I check first?

Disconnect the client and check that your local network can access familiar websites. If the basic connection is also having problems, resolve those first. Next, sign in to the dashboard to check your plan status and data, update your subscription, and try a server in another region or of a different type for comparison. Check that your system allows the client to establish network connections, and close any other proxy tools that may conflict. Change one setting at a time and keep the exact error message so you can tell whether the issue is with your local network, imported configuration, or chosen server.

It says connected, but websites will not load. What should I do?

A connected status usually means the client has established a connection; it does not confirm that browser traffic is being routed as expected. Try several websites to see whether all sites are affected or just one. Then check that your system proxy, client rules, and browser proxy settings are consistent. If the problem only occurs in the browser, temporarily disable extensions that change network settings and test again. If domain names cannot be resolved, check the client’s DNS settings. Avoid changing every option at once, or it will be difficult to tell which change helped.

Why does my browser work, but a particular app does not use the proxy?

Apps may use different network methods. A working browser does not mean other apps use the system proxy. Check whether per-app settings are enabled in the client and whether the target app has been excluded. Then check that the current rule mode routes the app’s requests through the intended server. If the client offers a mode that handles app traffic, read its instructions, grant the required permissions, and reopen the app to test. Also distinguish a connection failure from an account-region restriction: for the latter, check the target platform’s rules, as changing servers alone may not help.

My connection drops when a mobile app goes into the background. What can I do?

First, note whether disconnections consistently happen after locking the screen, switching apps, or changing networks. If background activity is involved, check the client’s background activity permissions and battery settings in your system settings, and confirm that its network permissions are still enabled. If the issue starts after switching networks, reconnect in the client and check whether the target app works again. Background connections are handled differently by each operating system, so do not rely on settings screenshots from another platform. When contacting support, describe what triggered the disconnection and how you restored the connection; this is more useful than simply saying it drops often.

What information should I provide about a DNS issue or when requesting support?

If an app reports a domain resolution failure, test other websites and check whether you manually changed the DNS option in the client’s current configuration. Follow the client’s instructions to restore the relevant settings, then test again. Do not combine unfamiliar DNS addresses. When contacting support, include your system platform, client name, selected region and server type, the error message, what you were doing when it occurred, and the steps you have already tried. Hide your username, subscription link, and payment details in screenshots. Never submit your password or the full subscription details.

03 Speeds & Routes

Exit regions & route selection

Compare performance for your actual use case; route names and distance are only a guide.

My connection slows down during peak hours. How can I tell whether to switch servers or change settings?

Compare different servers using the same device and target app, without changing other settings. If switching servers clearly improves performance, keep the one that works better. If all servers are slow, check whether downloads, syncing, or other devices are using your local network. You can also compare different network connections to see whether the problem is specific to your current network. Peak-hour performance depends on your local network, cross-border routing, and the target service, so server names alone are not a reliable guide. Note the conditions and comparison results, then continue troubleshooting with the guide.

How should I choose between IEPL, relayed, and direct routes?

These terms describe how routes are organized, not a universal ranking of speeds for every network. Choose between IEPL, relayed, and direct routes based on the options currently shown in your dashboard and how they perform with the apps you use. First decide which exit region you need, then compare available routes under the same conditions. Check page loading, sustained use, and recovery after disconnections. Do not decide based only on geographic distance or route type. The server page explains route types; check the user dashboard for available regions and routes.

How many countries do the routes cover, and how should I choose a region?

VPNLogo offers routes in 110+ countries / 160+ routes. When choosing a region, first check the target site or app’s supported service regions, then consider how well your current network connects. A closer region is not necessarily better for every app. Some services also consider account region, payment context, or usage history. Once you find a suitable exit region, try to keep your usage environment consistent rather than switching regions frequently. The public site shows coverage; check the user dashboard for current route names and availability.

An AI tool or streaming service says my region is unsupported. Will switching servers fix it?

Not necessarily. The platform may check your network exit, account region, subscription eligibility, and current session; the network route is only one part of the picture. Check which service regions the platform currently supports, then make sure the selected route exits in a region that meets your needs. If necessary, sign out of the old session and reopen the app to test again. If the connection works but you still see an eligibility or region message, continue troubleshooting according to the platform’s rules. VPNLogo does not guarantee access to specific services based on its coverage area; test streaming and AI tools with the actual service you intend to use.

How can I confirm that my traffic is using the selected route?

Check which configuration and route are selected in the client, then make sure the target app is covered by the current proxy rules. You can compare your exit region before and after connecting with a trusted IP lookup site, but the result only reflects the app making the request—not necessarily the route used by every app. Test your browser and the app you actually need separately, and check the client’s connection logs. If they behave differently, review per-app rules and system proxy settings rather than assuming all traffic is routed just because the status bar shows a connection icon.

04 Billing & Refunds

Plans, payments & refund requests

Know the difference between monthly subscriptions and data packages, and check order details in the user dashboard.

How much do monthly subscriptions and data packages cost?

Monthly subscriptions: ¥9.9/month for 60GB · ¥18/month for 250GB · ¥28/month for 500GB. Data packages: ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Choose based on whether you need ongoing or occasional use, and check the data allowance. Monthly subscription reset rules do not apply to data packages. See the plans page for full pricing and billing details, and check that your selection matches the order shown in the user dashboard.

When does monthly data reset, and what happens if I upgrade partway through?

Monthly subscription data resets each month on the activation date. When you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is prorated over the remaining days. Check your plan status and dates in the user dashboard; do not assume data resets on the first day of the calendar month. Before upgrading, review the displayed changes and order amount, and proceed only if they meet your needs. If you have questions about the prorated amount, keep your current plan details and contact support through a ticket. Data packages remain valid until used and never expire, unlike monthly subscriptions, and are not subject to monthly subscription rules.

What payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my status does not change after payment?

We accept Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Select a plan in the user dashboard, follow the instructions on the order page to complete payment, then return to the dashboard to check the order and plan status. If you have paid but the status has not changed, first confirm that the payment and order details match, then refresh the order page. Do not pay again before checking. If the issue persists, submit a support ticket with the relevant order details and a redacted payment receipt. Do not share account information from payment screenshots or give your password to anyone offering help.

What is the refund policy, and how do I request a refund?

VPNLogo offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user dashboard, open a support ticket, explain that you are requesting a refund, and provide the relevant order details for review. Before submitting, read the refund terms in the Terms of Service for eligibility and application requirements. This page makes no additional promises about processing times or payment provider timelines. If you are also experiencing connection issues, you can include the troubleshooting steps you have tried, but do not send your password or full subscription link in a ticket. Check the dashboard for your request and its progress.

Do data packages expire, and what should I check before purchasing one?

Data packages remain valid until used and never expire. Unlike monthly subscriptions, whose data resets each month on the activation date, they suit users who prefer to use data as needed. Before purchasing, confirm that the selected item is clearly labeled as a data package, and check its price and data allowance. If you already have another plan, check your account status in the dashboard. Do not assume how different plans combine, deduct data, or switch between one another. If the order page does not explain this, ask support through a ticket before choosing. Never interpret “never expires” to mean that data is not consumed.
